Free Eid Card Giveaway

*taps mic*

Anyone out there? How is everyone surviving their fast? I hope you are doing well and keeping hydrated. I also know for a fact that you've already started making your Eid plans for the end of this month. And because I love y'all so much, I have a free gift for my lovely readers: FREE PERSONALIZED EID CARDS.

Stop drooling.

Oh, wait? You dry. I get ya.

**
Years ago before we had an Eid Stamp and a reputation for dangerous things, Muslims in America had a tiny window of choices when it came to celebratory knickknacks for our holidays as did other faiths in America. We had to make our own Eid cards or stick to the random boring selection of blank greeting cards at our local store. We had to be discreet about our holiday because no one frankly cared about our business.

Fastforward to 2011 and--BAM--Muslims are being recognized more and more globally as an important consumer. Let's hope the next decade or two will make us even more included.

Minted asked me to review samples of their Eid cards. Let me tell you, I am SORTA BLOWN AWAY. As an amateur photographer, I regularly order prints, cards, etc online, and I am extremely impressed by the product Minted has produced for their Muslim consumer. The quality of print and paper is superb compared to their competitors.

I am impressed by the diversity of Eid card designs although I've only managed to order 5 of their many designs. The colors  are vibrant and high quality. The card designs are sophisticated and complimentary to Islamic art and design. I also find their selection diverse enough to satisfy all tastes and ages.

Browsing their website is made easy, you select the card design you favor, upload a high quality photo, and are able to manipulate the photo and design from there. I received my package in 2 business days which makes it ideal for last minute shopping. Although this review is focused on their Eid card selection, I encourage you to explore the rest of their site.

Minted have agreed to host a Eid Card giveaway on this blog. They've been very generous with their gift and they'll send one lucky reader a $100 gift certificate to spend on Eid cards selection.

So what do you have to do?

Leave a comment below with a valid email address and you'll automatically be considered for the giveaway. One lucky reader will be randomly selected and notified via email. Bam! Free Eid presents for all. Here is what you need to know about international shipping.

Start: August 11, 2011
End: August 21, 2011 at Midnight EST

That's it.

Happy?

You may return to fantasizing about food.

And, Ramadan Mubarak :)
